It is that time of year again, when we look to the Lord for His plans for our year ahead.
As I waited on the Lord, He gave me the following word:
The Year of Abundant Living
Behold, I hold the future in My hands, says the Lord. I have seen the difficulties of the past year, but I did warn you that this would be a year of beginnings and endings. A time to introduce some new things and also to remove some things. And this has indeed been accomplished.
I did not create the difficulties in your life, but they happened because there were some things you were trying to hold on to.
My plan for you has always been for your good, but sometimes there is a price to pay to enter into the fullness of My blessings.
And now, as I have removed some things from your life and experience, the stage is set for Me to bring forth many good things I have planned for you.
Some of what needed to come to an end included past relationships. These had a season and accomplished their purpose, but they were now standing in the way of your future progress.
The only way I could bring some of these to an end was by allowing conflict and separation to happen. But this was beneficial because it removed obstacles that prevented Me from guiding you to the destination I had planned for you.
Therefore, do not live in regret over separations or feel that you have failed because of what happened. I fully supported these separations, and now that the obstacles are gone, the path to your future blessing is clear.
You stand now on the brink of a new year and a new era. And it shall be an era of restoration, resurrection, and progress.
For what has died during this year, can now be resurrected to a new place. The visions that came to an end have paved the way for some new visions.
The year that lies before you shall be known as the Year of Abundant Living, because I am going to bring you to a new place of understanding of the Abundant Life that I desire for you.
As the year progresses, you will come to a fuller understanding of what it means to live and walk in the abundant blessings that I purchased for you.
This will impact all aspects of your life, not just temporal matters. There will definitely be growth in the temporal realm, and you will begin to experience more financial success than in previous years.
There will be a new emphasis on the practice of business, where My people will learn how to tap into the wealth of this world. And I will bless the work of your hands in new ways.
I will also cause you to have greater favor with those whom you interact with, and you will no longer remain hidden in obscurity. For My light will arise upon you, says the Lord, and My glory will shine forth from you.
Like a city set on a hill, you will shine brightly, attracting many. The lessons you’ve learned, sometimes through suffering, will help you rise up and confidently show others the way.
For a season, I kept you hidden away to protect you from the attack of the enemy. But now you have endured hardship and have come through victorious, and you will be able to take upon you a greater load of responsibility.
Do not believe the lies of the enemy when he tells you that your strength is spent and that you are no longer capable of accomplishing much. The years of experience you have gained will not lead you to a place of retirement but to a place of becoming a greater leader.
Consider My servant Joshua, who served me faithfully and ultimately took full leadership in his later years. Even Caleb, who stood with Joshua, declared that he was still capable of conquering and overcoming in his old age.
As you reflect on your experiences so far, you’ve gone through seasons of success and failure. But there is still much territory to claim for My Kingdom, and you are still fully capable of rising up and doing everything I have called you to do.
So set your face like flint now, as you face new opportunities to rise up and take your place as someone who will be an influence in My Kingdom, says the Lord. For I lay before you a new path to walk, with new opportunities.
And I will empower you and increase your understanding of My calling in your life. For you will rise up and shine brightly for me in the time that lies ahead. And you will become an influence to many.
And I will extend the effective years of your life, so that, like the Patriarchs of old, you will forge new paths for My Body to walk in. And you will enjoy the full blessing of the abundant life I have prepared for you, says the Lord.
